Our inspector is a member of Independent Home Inspectors of North America (IHINA) and is licensed by the state of South Carolina (Lic #: RBI.2719). We strive to deliver diligent service at a reasonable price.
Seymour Home Inspection strongly urges you to find your own inspector. Do not let a seller's or buyer's agent book an inspector for you. This is a very common arrangement and also generally not a good idea. The conflict of interest inherent in such arrangements can cause you serious problems even if the agent is acting in good faith. It may be ok for your agent to make some recommendations, but be cautious. You should be actively involved in the process of choosing a home inspector. We also offer handyman services. Seymour Handyman Service will tackle your small home repair and improvement projects, providing affordable, quality service. We cannot, however, perform repairs on homes on which we have conducted pre-purchase or premarket home inspections (see IHINA Code of Ethics).
